Gifts - we all love buying things for others but let’s face it sometimes it’s not easy to find something they will like, use, enjoy etc. Let me help with some ideas of pressies for others or for yourself - anyone else have family that pester them non stop to give them some ‘good ideas’ in the lead up to the big day?

Lockdown...

I know we have a lockdown for all the right reasons and I am sticking to the rules but these posts telling me all the positives about lockdown are driving me mad. These are my honest views - don’t read on if you are wanting your daily dose of positivity!

We recently won an award which was a huge surprise but also fantastic news for us all at Finale and our customers too. This is the article written by Ian Wylie with all the details that appeared in our local magazine;

A village shop in Northumberland at the heart and ‘sole’ of the local community has won a top national award.

Finale Shoes and Accessories of Corbridge was named Fashion Independent Footwear Retailer of the Year at the 2019 Footwear Industry Awards in Birmingham.

The shoes and boots always look lovely in the shop but it’s nice to have images of them on feet and in different locations too, this helps people imagine how they will fit into their wardrobes and lifestyles. So every season we do a photo shoot, this is one of these things that sounds very glamorous but is actually something we spend ages planning and is pretty hard work but very worth it when you get the shots at the end! 

Can you imagine working in Finale and being surrounded by shoes and handbags all day long then having to watch people try them on and look fabulous in them! It is always one of the questions we are asked most often - how do you choose what to have for yourselves each season and what to wear to work?

It's that time of year again, the save the dates and invites are pouring through the door - it must be wedding season!

I wanted to write this blog as we get lots of ladies in the shop looking for shoes, handbags and accessories to match the lovely outfits they have purchased or are about to purchase. We have a wealth of experience in helping our customers find that perfect ‘finale’ to their outfits. 

Who do we buy our shoes from?

No, this is not a trick question - obviously mum and I and everyone who works for us get their shoes from Finale! But where does Finale get its shoes from?

We buy from a variety of different brands, this is important to us because it means we have a wide range and lots of choice for you; our customers.
